We had a wonderful time at the Royal, rooms were spacious, very clean, modern and comfortable, the bathroom was extensive, the food was excellent with a good choice (we only ate breakfast ) the staff were friendly and attentive and they even stored all our golfing gear for us. The bar area was spacious and drink selection adequate and reasonably priced.
A great base to stay and play golf
I took 22 golfers to stay here on June 14 for a weekend golf outing. The hosts could not have been more welcoming, everything was organised for us, the rooms were very clean, the bathrooms exceptional, when we came down for breakfast we could have been in one of the best hotels anywhere, the service and variety of food on offer was to the very highest standard.
For the 2nd year running we had a few nights at the Royal for a golf break. Once again we left highly satisfied by a very pleasant stay. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was excellent, and the golf bookings ran like clockwork. A final comment on the owner Tim......a very nice man who was always willing and able to answer any queries we had. Will we be back next year?.....Definitely!
We have stopped at The Royal Bridlington for the last 3 years and the service and hospitality Tim the owner gives us is second to none, the rooms are ample and the breakfast is lovely. If you are keen golfers Tim will sort out the tee times for you and give you a golf passport to play each of the courses. Thanks again Tim

Beverley Golf CourseBeverley Golf Course is located near to the racecourse and is a leisurely 5,700 yards course. Founded in 1889, the Westwood course is arguably the oldest in Yorkshire. Scarborough South CliffThe course falls into two parts, divided by the main road from Scarborough to Filey. On the seaward side of the road lie the fourth to tenth holes. On the land-ward side the first three holes and the last eight are laid out along the bottom of the rolling valley stretching southwards into the hills and on the slope of the ridge to the East.
The turf, even on the cliffs, is of the down-land rather than the seaside type and provides excellent lies for the fairway wood slots.
The two parts of the course make a pleasant contrast and both provide some excellent golf.
