The Golf Courses

Filey Course offers a 3026yd challenge with well maintained greens and fairways and breathtaking views over the North Sea.

Bridlington Links Golf & Leisure Estate boasts a fine 6719 yard golf course with a distinctive "links feel" and breathtaking views of Bridlington Bay and the town.

The par 72 course offers spectacular holes along the cliff tops and Danes Dyke and is a challenge to all levels of golfer.

It is an easy walking, 6638 yard course, with some of the finest greens in the area. With thousands of trees screening the fairways, six water features and many well-positioned bunkers, it offers a challenge to the discerning golfer.

The course falls into two parts, divided by the main road.

The turf, even on the cliffs, is of the down-land rather than the seaside type and provides excellent lies for the fairway wood slots.

The two parts of the course make a pleasant contrast and both provide some excellent golf.

Founded in 1931 'The Friendliest Club on the Coast' has its golf course perched on the cliff tops overlooking the North Sea in East Riding of Yorkshire.

The links type 18 hole, Par 71 course moulds itself around the contours of the cliffs which form part of Flamborough Head and is a wonderful place to play golf.

The picturesque course at Hornsea Golf Club is set in secluded parkland, and offers you a genuinely warm welcome. The course offers mature fairways with superb greens, and presents a challenging round of golf. There are excellent facilities.

The tranquil Driffield Golf Course is surrounded by the farmland which lends natural features to the course. These play host to a wide variety of wildlife.

A particular feature is the trout stream which runs through the course. With tree lined fairways, streams and ponds all demanding accuracy, this easy walking course presents a true challenge for the golfer.

Hainsworth Park is an absolute pleasure to play.

The course set up is well thought out, with special attention paid to the greens which make for a lovely putt. Staff and regulars are very friendly.

Beverley Golf Course is located near to the racecourse and is a leisurely 5,700 yards course. Founded in 1889, the Westwood course is arguably the oldest in Yorkshire.

It boasts an enviable mix of golfing landscape - parkland, heathland and links - taking advantage of the ups and downs of the rolling fairways and magnificent views of the market town of Beverley and its spectacular Minster.
